History of the Mass Spectrometry Resource

The MS & Proteomics Resource of the W.M. Keck Biotechnology Resource Laboratory at Yale’s School of Medicine has it’s beginnings three decades ago in 1980 in the Department of Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics. Dr. Kenneth R. Williams founded the Keck Lab, then called the Protein Chemistry Facility, and is still the Director of the resulting/evolving Keck Lab which now encompasses Proteomics, Genomics, Biostatistics and Bioinformatics.
