YALE RESEARCHER SAMPLE SUBMISSION

• Due to our sequencing methods all individual tube samples should be submitted in VWR Labcon or American Bioanalytical purple screw cap tubes and labeled with a barcode.

  • Both tubes are located in the Yale Stockroom.  Please see What's New for order information.

  • A $2 handling fee will be charged to each sample submitted in the incorrect tubes.

  • Barcodes are given at no charge over the counter in the Kline and Medical Stockrooms.  Please see Barcode Labeling Instructions for more information.

Yale Researcher Ordering for Individual Tube Submission

• All Yale sample submission for premixed individual tubes must be web ordered.

• Primer walks and high volume plates can not be web-ordered.  Please see the appropriate form below.

DNA Sequencing Drop-off Hours and Locations

BCMM 108, TAC S352 & AMISB 420:  There is no one at these locations to answer questions, please contact us at 737-2566 or via E-mail.

•  Drop-off hours:  8:30 am-4:30pm
•  Pick-up times:  9:00 am and 3:00 pm
  • Samples submitted after 3:00 pm will be picked-up the following morning and processed on that day.  Samples submitted after the 9:00am pickup will be processed  the next business day.
  • Sample pick-up times are ONLY estimates, please be sure to get your samples in BEFORE the estimated times, or it will be picked up at the following time.

JWG 304 and OML 114:  There is no one at these locations to answer questions, please contact us at 737-2566 or via E-mail.

• Sample pickup by courier service:  9:00 am and 2:30 pm 
• Since the pickup is an unsecured area and the courier service is involved, we cannot be responsible for samples that do not reach us from these locations.

300 George St Room 2127:  This site is available for questions between the hours of 1 and 3pm weekdays only. 

• Drop-off hours:  8:30am-5:00pm
